====== App Provisioning Layer ======
Part of the technical landscape of [[Start|Merri-bek Tech]].

The App Provisioning Layer is our equivalent of “the cloud”. This layer includes containerization and other features used by our volunteers to build app hosting.

===== Initial Ask =====

  * Develop a Phase 1 provisioning layer that will be ready for the first cohort of volunteers on 1st May, allowing them to run apps in docker containers.
  * Provide basic support for this layer through to the end of July. 
  * Start work on a design for Phase 2 provisioning layer
